اَللہُ اَکۡبَر ُ(۴ مرتبہ)
اللہ توصیف کیے جانے سے بالا تر ہے۔
4x*Allah u Akbar:
God is greater.
اَشۡہَدُ اَن لَا اِلہَ اِلّا اللہ (۲مرتبہ)
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے۔
2xAsh-hadu alla ilaha illallah:
I bear witness that there is no lord except God.
اَشۡہَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّداً رَّسُوۡلُ اللہ ِ(۲ مرتبہ):
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ حضرت محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہیں
2xAsh-hadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah:
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God
اَشۡہَدُ اَنَّ عَلِیّاً وَلِیُّ اللہِ (۲ مرتبہ):
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ حضرت علی علیہ السلام اللہ کے ولی ہیں
۔2x**Ash-hadu anna Aliya wali-ul-lah;
I bear witness that Ali is the vice regent of God
حَیَّ عَلی الصَّلوٰۃِ (۲ مرتبہ):
نماز کی طرف آؤ۔
2xHayya ‘alas-salat:
Make haste towards prayer
حَیَّ عَلی الفَلاحِ (۲ مرتبہ):
کامیابی کی طرف آؤ.
2xHayya ‘alal-falah:
Make haste towards welfare
حَیَّ عَلیٰ خَیۡرِ الۡعَمَلِ (۲ مرتبہ):
بہترین کام کی طرف آؤ۔
2xHayya- al Khair al amal:
Make haste towards the best thing
اَللہُ اَکۡبَرُ (۲ مرتبہ):
اللہ توصیف کیے جانے سے بالاتر ہے۔

لَا اِلٰہَ الّا للہُ(۲ مرتبہ):
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہے۔
2x****La ilaha illallah:
There is no lord except God
Dua after Azan
When you intend to perform the prayer, you may say the following:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اقَدِّمُ إِلَيْكَ مُحَمَّداً
allahumma inni uqaddimu ilayka muhammadan
O Allah, I submit Muhammad,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi
may Allah bless him and his Household,
بَيْنَ يَدَيْ حَاجَتِي
bayna yaday hajati
to You before mentioning my needs,
وَاتَوَجَّهُ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ
wa atawajjahu bihi ilayka
and I turn to You in his name;
فَٱجْعَلْنِي بِهِ وَجِْيهاً عِنْدَكَ
faj`alni bihi wajihan `indaka
so, (please) make me of high regard with You
فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ
fi alddunya wal-akhirati
in this world and the Hereafter,
وَمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
wa min almuqarrabina
and of those drawn near to You,
وَٱجْعَلْ صَلاَتِي بِهِ مَقْبُولَةً
waj`al salati bihi maqbulatan
and (please) decide, in his name, my prayer to be admitted,
وَذَنْبِي بِهِ مَغْفُوراً
wa dhanbi bihi maghfuran
my sin to be forgiven,
وَدُعَائِي بِهِ مُسْتَجَاباً
wa du`a’i bihi mustajaban
and my supplication to be responded.
إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
