Every teacher at Al Mehdi Online Quran Center is a practising Ithna-Asheri Shia Muslim with verified qualifications in Quranic recitation, Tajweed, or Fiqah e Jafria. Together, our teachers work with students from age 5 to 65, teaching Basic Qaida, Tajweed rules, Quran recitation, and Ahkaam — in Urdu, Arabic, and English. Here’s who you or your child will actually be learning from.
How these qualifications are verified: before teaching, every teacher shows original certificates at an in-person interview, provides a reference letter, passes a police criminal-record check and completes a 3-month probation with monthly parent feedback. Read how we vet our teachers.
Male Quran Teachers
Agah Asad Abbas Kazmi
12 years of teaching experience. Certified Teacher with Houza Certification, currently teaching students in Denmark and internationally. Asad teaches Basic Qaida, Tajweed rules, Quran recitation, and Ahkaam to students from age 5 through adulthood, in Urdu, Arabic, and English.
Agah Ali Abbas Sherazi
10 years of teaching experience. Certified Teacher, leading Fiqah e Jafria instruction from our Pakistan-based operations. Ali teaches Basic Qaida, Tajweed rules, Quran recitation, and Ahkaam to students from age 5 through adulthood, in Urdu, Arabic, and English.
Syed Muhammad Ali Naqvi
Senior Quran & Tajweed Teacher. Hawza Islamic Studies and Tajweed certification (Hawza studies, Najaf, Iraq). Teaches Quran reading, Tajweed, Makharij, and Quranic recitation in Urdu and Arabic. Helps students improve pronunciation, fluency, and confidence through guided Quran lessons.
Allama Syed Hassan Raza Kazmi
Shia Islamic Studies Instructor. Advanced Hawza studies in Aqaaid and Islamic theology (Hawza Ilmiyya, Najaf, Iraq). Teaches Shia beliefs, Seerah, Islamic history, and the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) in Urdu and Arabic. Introduces students to Shia beliefs and Islamic history through structured, age-appropriate lessons.
Syed Abbas Hussain Rizvi
Quran Recitation Teacher. Quran and Hadith Studies with Tajweed training (Al-Mustafa Open University, Qom, Iran). Teaches Quran reading, recitation, fluency, and memorization in Urdu, Arabic, and English. Supports learners through regular recitation practice, revision, and individual feedback.
Maulana Syed Mehdi Abbas Jafri
Fiqh and Namaz Instructor. Hawza studies in Islamic jurisprudence and Fiqh (Shia seminary studies, Qom, Iran). Teaches Namaz-e-Jafria, Wuzu, religious practices, and introductory Fiqh in Urdu and Arabic. Explains daily religious practices with clear examples and practical guidance.
Syed Jawad Haider Naqvi
Children’s Quran Teacher. Quran teaching certificate and child education training (Quran education institute, Pakistan). Teaches Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, short Surahs, and memorization in Urdu and English. Uses repetition and guided reading to help young learners build strong Quran foundations.
Allama Syed Raza Haider
Quran and Tafseer Instructor. Studies in Tafseer and Quranic sciences (Quranic studies program, Qom, Iran). Teaches Tafseer, Quranic themes, Arabic vocabulary, and Islamic teachings in Urdu, Arabic, and English. Helps students explore the meanings and lessons of Quranic verses alongside recitation.
