How to Use These Interactive Books

Which book should my child start with?

Children who cannot yet read Arabic should start with the Noorani Qaida, then My Colorful Qur’an for Tajweed. For Islamic studies, a 5-year-old begins with Fiqh-e-Jafaria for Little Ones, ages 5 to 8 continue with Akhlaaq Juniors, and older children move through Fiqh-e-Jafaria for Juniors, Level 2 and Level 3.

Are the Fiqh books based on Fiqh-e-Jafaria (Shia Ithna Ashari)?

Yes. The Fiqh books teach basic rulings, obligatory acts, manners and sayings of Imam Ali (a.s.) from Nahj al-Balagha according to Fiqh-e-Jafaria, the jurisprudence followed by Shia Ithna Ashari Muslims. For detailed rulings, families should follow their Marja’s Tauzeeh-ul-Masail.

Which languages are the books in?

The Fiqh-e-Jafaria books can be read in English, Urdu and Arabic, with buttons to show or hide each language. The Noorani Qaida and Tajweed books teach Arabic Quranic text with English guidance, transliteration and meaning.
