﷽
اللّهُمّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيهِ الذّهْنَ وَالتّنْبِيهَ
allahumma arzuqny fihi aldhdhhna wal-ttnbiha
O Allah: on this day, (please) confer upon me with sound mentality and acumen,
وَبَاعِدْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ السّفَاهَةِ وَالتّمْوِيهِ
wa ba`idny fihi mina alssfahati wal-ttmuihi
And take me away from foolishness and deception,
وَاجْعَلْ لِي نَصِيباً مِنْ كُلّ خَيْرٍ تُنْزِلُ فِيهِ
waj`al li nasiban min kulli khayrin tunzilu fihi
And decide for me a share from each goodness that You descend on this day,
بِجُودِكَ يَا أَجْوَدَ الأَجْوَدِينَ
bijudika ya ajwada alajwadina
By Your magnanimity; O the most Magnanimous of all those who are magnanimous.
