As the sacred month of Muharram begins, hearts across the world are once again drawn towards the plains of Karbala. These blessed nights remind us of the ultimate sacrifice made by Imam Hussain (a.s.), his family, and his companions in preserving the values of Islam, justice, dignity, and truth.
With the arrival of these nights of mourning, Mawkib Al Hujja is honoured to once again open its doors in service to the lovers of Aba Abdillah Al Hussain (a.s.). We look forward to welcoming brothers, sisters, and families for ten spiritually uplifting nights of remembrance, learning, and community service.
Daily Muharram Programme
Our nightly gatherings begin at 6:45 PM and include:
π Daily Majalis
Lectures delivered by Sheikh Mostafa Khaliq, exploring the lessons, sacrifices, and timeless message of Karbala.
π΄ Latmiyat & Mourning Recitations
Heartfelt recitations by Sayed Yosef Al Laebi, allowing mourners to express their grief and devotion to Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the Ahlulbayt (a.s.).
π₯½ VR Karbala Experience
A unique virtual reality experience that allows visitors to engage with and better understand the events of Karbala in an immersive and educational environment.
π Children’s Activity Packs
Specially prepared activity packs for young mourners, distributed throughout the first ten nights in collaboration with Messenger Magazine, helping children connect with the message of Ashura in an engaging way.
π Daily Tabarruk Delivery
Recognising the importance of inclusion and service, Mawkib Al Hujja will provide daily tabarruk deliveries for elderly individuals and those facing health challenges across London.
π Children’s Muharram T-Shirts
Exclusive Muharram-themed T-shirts for children aged 3β10 years, available in collaboration with Scholars & Soldiers.

Join volunteers and the team from Messenger Magazine in preparing tabarruk for distribution throughout the community.
π Blessed Shrine Tile Distribution
23rd June
Visitors will have the opportunity to receive a blessed tile from the holy shrine of Kadhmain, taking home a meaningful spiritual keepsake.
π Ongoing Daily Tabarruk Service
A dedicated delivery service for elderly and vulnerable members of the community will continue throughout the ten nights.
