Al Mehdi Center offers live one-to-one online Quran classes for Shia families in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Canton, Westland and across Metro Detroit. Children from age 5 and adults learn Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed and Fiqah e Jafria with qualified Shia teachers on Microsoft Teams. Every new student starts with 5 free trial classes.
Many Dearborn children attend weekend school at their local Islamic centre. A 30-minute online lesson two or three times a week gives them steady practice in between, so they keep up with recitation, Tajweed and Namaz. Classes are booked in Eastern Time.
Children who have grown up in Michigan are often most comfortable in English. Our teachers explain Tajweed rules, Ahkaam and meanings clearly in English, while helping children pronounce Arabic correctly.
Group classes are valuable for community, but a child may only recite for a few minutes. In a one-to-one class your child recites for the whole lesson and the teacher corrects every mistake.
