Al Mehdi Center teaches Shia families across London, from Brent, Harrow and Ealing to Hounslow, Croydon, Redbridge and Walthamstow, through live one-to-one online Quran classes. Children from age 5 and adults learn Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed and Fiqah e Jafria with qualified Shia teachers on Microsoft Teams. Every new student starts with 5 free trial classes.
A cross-London journey to a madrassa can easily take an hour each way. With online classes, a 30-minute lesson fits between school pick-up and dinner, or on a Saturday morning, with no travel at all. Classes are booked in UK time and stay at the same local time when the clocks change.
Many London families attend majalis and programmes at their local imambargah or Islamic centre. Our one-to-one lessons complement that community life: your child practises recitation, Tajweed and Namaz with a teacher every week, then takes part with confidence at the centre.
Group madrassa classes often have 15 or more children per teacher. In a one-to-one online class your child recites every minute, and the teacher corrects mistakes immediately. Parents can sit in and see progress for themselves.
